Hey there! My name is Misty Blue - yep, it really is! Thanks for wanting to get to know the lady behind the lens :)
I was born and raised in Guelph, Ontario and currently reside in Fergus, Ontario with my husband and our daughters. I'm a movie buff who loves funny GIFs, taco salads, swimming with my family, sappy romantic movies (the cheesier the better!), and getting sushi with my friends. If I'm not with my family you can usually find me working while watching Netflix. Since I'm home with a toddler most days, I do what I can, whenever I can, which is infrequently and rarely - haha, can you relate?
Though it may seem like it, I don't "just" take pretty photos. I help people capture their memories.
Think about all the portraits you see around your grandma's house, or in her albums. Treasured memories from previous generations, printed and saved to enjoy for years to come. Sadly these days we don't print photos, or even have portraits taken, like we used to. I'll never forget being at Olan Mills for pictures all the time (check out the photographic evidence below)!
Thankfully portrait photography has come a long way since those days. But no matter what, the most important thing that I do is provide you with "hard copies" of important and beautiful moments in time that you can cherish for the rest of your life. I know how much these photos mean to the people and families I provide them to because I cherish all of my photos the same. And that is why I do what I do.
There are no words that I can use to accurately describe the amount of joy I feel when I see your reaction or hear your feedback from your photos. Your support and trust means the world to me.
